This is Diana, Diana likes tea and crocs. Diana is one of those people that is everywhere but in the best way possible. She is always doing new things and trying new stuff and this is one of the times. Jess, Diana and I went on a kind of friend date and we went everywhere. We ended up at Ritual Cafe and we all drank iced horchata lattes. The latte that Diana is drinking was actually free. One of the baristas came up to us and asked if we wanted a free latte and well we did. This picture is another example of how Diana is always aware of the camera and knows what's up at all times. It is almost impossible to take a candid of her but I think this is the closest I'll ever get. I did kind of catch her off guard. This picture is also a different vibe from what Diana gives to other people but since I know her well this is kind of the vibe that she gives me because she is actually very sensitive and this is kind of her softer side.

The day these pictures were taken was actually an art field trip and Jess and I were sitting in the backseat of George's car and Victoria was in the passenger seat.

To me these pictures are very Jessica because of the warmth and the background. Jess is a very sunny person and the vibes that she gives off are really warm and natural so it helps that you can see a bit of trees in the background. I actually really like the composition for these two pictures and I feel like if it would've been any different these pictures would've had a completely different vibe. I think they're successful in following my concentration which is essentially being able to show my friend's vibes and personalities with mostly candid photographs.  I always associate Jess with the sun, warmth and nature and I think this works for her.

These are two pictures that I took of my favorite man. They're both kind of cool in temperature  but one is definitely colder than the other. The first picture has a mixture of cool and warm temperatures and I think that helps a lot in the vibe that the photograph gives. I think it adds more drama and emotion. The second picture is way colder and almost like platinum. It reminds me of winter. The first picture even though it also has cooler temperatures it reminds me of warmer times. Both photographs were candid and he wasn't aware that it was happening so the vibe and emotion that they give are genuine and that's kind of what I was going for this whole time for all of these pictures.

This project was one the most fun projects I actually ever did. It was fun for me to look for stuff in magazines and have the freedom to pick out exactly what I wanted. I loved doing new things this semester and I think making collages definitely something that I will keep doing. This fit with the theme of trying new things because I have never made a collage for an art class before and it was definitely a new experience. It felt so free to make this and it was definitely a nice and refreshing feeling.

I would classify this project as a new thing within a new thing. I did something new with the collage but with this it was even more new. It is clean but it's still a collage. The cleanliness of the collaged parts contrasts with the messy painted painted background. I played with balance a lot with this project and it definitely showed. This is one of the things that I'm most proud of because I was able to take making collages and adapt it to my style, simple and clean. It was still very free and fresh to make this piece because I got to just do whatever I wanted for the background and that balanced how delicate and clean everything else had to be.

It's "be proud of my best friend" time. Oh man, I love Jess so much and she really is my favorite person to photograph, you can tell! She's all over to page. Anyway, I'm gonna miss Jess so much when she goes to college and I'm going to need to find someone else to photograph. The name is a stupid pun or

something. Grad as in she is graduating and as in it's a gradient in the second photo. I never do this type of editing with photos. I never edit them in a monochromatic type of way but I think these look really cool and they fit almost exactly with Jess. On the second photograph the gradient background came first and then the editing on the photo. The colors that the photo ended up with fit so nicely with the gradient and I was so shook. I put these two together because of the colors, both warm colors. I don't think I would've used these photos if I was to edit them the way I normally edit photos because I didn't like the lighting. But I'm glad I was able to fit them to my concentration and actually end up liking them by doing something new with them. these photos were meant to be edited this way.

This piece is kind of like my goodbye piece to Jessica. Yellow, and green (, and blue) are the colors that I most associate with Jessica. I'm actually crying right now. I'm going to miss Jess so much wow. Anyway, this is my last concentration piece. It came out exactly how I wanted it and I'm honestly so surprised. I'm so proud of this picture, a big reason is because I literally took it at Hobby Lobby so. Same as the two other ones, all Hobby Lobby senior pictures. I loved playing with color for all of these photographs and that I was able to use them because I had forgotten about them and I wasn't even going to use them. This was one of the funnest days I've ever had with my friends and I'm glad I was able to get these photos.

my concentration has changed so much over the last few semesters of my high school years. I've changed it so much and cried so much over it, it's absurd. It's way more simple than I think. I want my concentration this semester to be about doing new things, you know. I started the semester with two collages instead of photography and I ended it with two edited and changed photographs, with the collages and the photographs I did something new and uncharacteristic of me. I tried a new medium and i edited my photographs in ways that i would've never done before. I would describe my photographs as usually clean and not very heavily edited, the most edited would probably be a black & white, which is almost the opposite of what I did this semester. I used a lot of color and changed a lot. I don't know if I would consider these pieces some of my best work but it's definitely some of the most emotional because those two photos were taken when we were trying to take Emy's and jess' senior photos and I'm just really emotional at the thought of them graduating and starting their adult lives. Overall I think my concentration makes sense with what i did and i would love to continue to try new things and get out of my comfort zone more,
